ABOUT ME

My name is Raja but everyone knows me better by my new name, Not McCat. When I started my long campaign to move in with my new human, she refused to give me a name because that would imply acceptance. One of her humorous friends said to call me Not McCat - because I'm a ginger. Funny humans.

I think it's important that I earn my keep. I keep the house safe from intruders (except Frankenstein, he frightens me a little) and I hunt food for me and my human. She doesn't seem to appreciate the things I bring home and keeps taking the small birds back outside. Funny humans.

Unlike most cats who sleep all day and run around all night, I have an important job helping my human in her glass studio. I have my very own chair and a title - I'm Shop Assistant Not McCat. When I'm not inspecting equipment or glass projects for quality I'm sleeping in my chair.

Even though I'm not a snuggler, I love my human - and I show her every morning when I wake her up with affectionate licks to her face. She pretends not to like it... funny human.
